What a Province Is
Real ground, fixed identity — the atom of the map.

Real Ground
A province is a real municipality, county, or region — pulled from actual map data, not hand-drawn. Its home country is fixed forever, even under enemy occupation. Each province carries a current owner, a border shape, baseline money and manpower per tick, an optional specialization that boosts one resource further, a capital flag, its cities, and one fixed capture marker where the ownership-flip mechanic anchors.
| Property | What It Means |
|---|---|
| HOME COUNTRY | Fixed forever, never changes with occupation |
| BORDER SHAPE | Real-world outline; used once at world-build to place the capture marker |
| BASELINE RESOURCES | Money/tick, manpower/tick |
| SPECIALIZATION | Optional — boosts one resource further (steel, oil, electronics, …) |
| CAPITAL FLAG | Marks national capital provinces |
| CAPTURE MARKER | Single fixed point on a road, chosen automatically at world-build |
